1. ABOUT RESERVATIONS
You can make your reservation through our website (by filling out the form) or by sending an email to: info@discoveringperutravel.com. Please allow at least 48 hours’ notice before the start of your trip (this depends on availability and confirmation from the agency).
For last-minute reservations, urgent inquiries about availability, or reservation confirmations, you can call our office at: (+51) 984 746 876 and (+51) 984 650 059. Our office is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; Sundays and holidays have special hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We also have a WhatsApp line.
The passenger responsible for the group who makes the booking must send the following detailed information for all participants:
– Photo of ID (National ID or Passport)
Once we have reviewed the ID, we will send a response to your email (the response will arrive within a maximum of 6 hours, due to time zone differences). We will send you a booking code, details of the requested tour, and a payment link to make the initial deposit. Each booking is confirmed upon receipt of the deposit in our bank account; otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
2. BOOKING TYPES
Individual: We consider individual reservations to be for groups of fewer than 10 passengers. To confirm this reservation, a 50% deposit of the total reservation amount is required, with the remaining 50% due 5 days before the tour begins, or in special cases, up to 24 hours before the tour starts.
Group: We consider group reservations to be for groups of 11 or more passengers. To confirm this reservation, a 50% deposit of the total reservation amount is required, with the remaining 50% due 5 days before the tour begins, or in special cases, up to 24 hours before the tour starts.
DISCOVERING PERU TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply administrative fees if the required deposits are not received by the deadlines established by our company.
For all last-minute individual and group reservations, or those made less than 5 days before the tour begins, the client must pay 100% of the total reservation amount.
3. PAYMENT METHODS
A. WESTERN UNION: You can make the payment from any official Western Union office in Peru or abroad.

REMEMBER: After making the deposit, you must send a clear photo of the deposit slip with the MTCN code. We will then send you a payment confirmation.
B. CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS: This payment method has a 5% surcharge for bank fees (example: US$100 + 5% = US$105.00 to deposit). If you choose this option, we will send you a payment link that will take you to the VISA platform where you can securely complete the payment.
The remaining 50% or balance must be paid 5 days before the start of the tour selected in the booking. If you wish to pay in cash upon arrival in Cusco, it must be the exact amount (please note that $100 bills containing the code CB B2 are not accepted).
4. RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS
The client may cancel their reservation at any time. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our email address: info@discoveringperutravel.com.
– If the reservation is cancelled 60 days before the tour begins, only 30% of the deposited amount will be retained to cover administrative costs.
– If the reservation is cancelled 30 days before the tour begins, 50% of the deposited amount will be retained to cover administrative costs.
– If the reservation is cancelled between 29 and 16 days before the tour begins, 70% of the deposited amount will be retained to cover administrative costs.
– If the reservation is cancelled between 15 and 7 days before the tour begins, 85% of the deposited amount will be retained to cover administrative costs. If you cancel your reservation 6 days or less before the tour begins, 100% of your deposit will be retained as a no-show.
We recommend using travel and medical insurance to enjoy your experience worry-free. Insurance in Peru can be purchased from local and international insurance companies.
5. PRIVACY POLICY
We understand the importance of your information, which is why our privacy policy is strict. DISCOVERING PERU TRAVEL will use this information exclusively to make the corresponding reservations for your tour. We never share this information with third parties. Your information is in good hands; we hate spam.
6. RESPONSABILITIES
DISCOVERING PERU TRAVEL reserves the right to modify any itinerary if truly necessary to safeguard the interests of our clients. We reserve the right to refuse or accept any person as a member of any of our trips.
DISCOVERING PERU TRAVEL acts solely in its capacity as a travel agent under the legal conditions and provides the necessary precautionary information.
Therefore, DISCOVERING PERU TRAVEL is not responsible for damages, illness, loss, additional expenses, accidental delays, or other irregularities that may be caused by negligent or intentional acts or omissions on the part of supplier companies related to transportation, accommodations, or other services linked to the execution of the tour program; or by natural disasters, social problems, or acts of nature.
7. RIGHTS TO USE OUR TRAVELERS' IMAGES
The client accepts and grants DISCOVERING PERU TRAVEL the right to use images, photos, and videos taken during participation in any of our services for any type of advertising, at no cost, provided that prior consent is given at the start of the tour.
