Tipon and Pikillaqta Ruins plus Andahuaylillas Colonial Church Tour

Tour Description:
After breakfast, pick up at your hotel. We will head south towards the Vilcanota Valley and after passing by the towns of San Sebastian, San Jeronimo, Saylla and Oropesa we will reach the Tipon ruins. Here we will observe 14 terraces connected by a series of channels, tunnels and small waterfalls that represent an efficient irrigation technique. Then we will continue to Pikillaqta, where the inhabitants of the Pre-Inca Wari culture used stone in their raw stage for the construction of their buildings. They developed a unique urban designed town based on condominiums.

Finally we will reach the town of Andahuaylillas for a visit to its outstanding church also known as "The Sistine Chapel of South America" because of its many paintings and gold plated ornaments. Return to the city of Cusco.
