Agricultural Tour

Tour Description:
Tour oriented to people interested in the cultivation procedure of Andean crops like different kinds of potato, corn, and many other vegetables and grains.
After pick up at your hotel we will head 35 km. north of Cusco to the Agricultural Experimental Center of Zurite. Here, scientists from the National Institute of Agronomic Investigation are making genetic studies of the different Andean crops. The site consists of Inca terraces where scientists are actually doing their studies. Once at the Center scientists will give a brief conference and then we will head to the experimental terraces for a close observation and further explanation.
